Wedding Invitations

Rob and I have been keeping busy planning our wedding. It is such an exciting time but at moments it can get a bit stressful. Especially when we are trying to maintain a reasonable wedding budget. For all you brides, I am sharing one of the best budget secrets that has been great in planning our wedding! We designed our own invitations on Vistaprint! [our invitations are below- we opted for using one of our engagement photos as the picture on the front. The actual invitation was printed on the back] We saved BIG on the invitations and this allowed us to allocate money to different areas of the wedding!

** The invitation is two sided. We chose our invitations to be printed out on linen paper to give it more of an elegant feel.

We quoted several different companies for invitations and were shocked by the price of them. Yes, we wanted beautiful invitations but not at the expense of our bank accounts being depleted. My dad suggested Vistaprint for creating them. The process was super easy and we were able to design them to what we wanted!

In case you were wondering price breakdown, here it is! We ordered 175 invitations and RSVP return cards, envelopes, return address stickers, and shipping costs all for $375 compared to the $800- $1000 to have a design studio do them.

We are so excited about the quality of the invitations and can't wait to send them out next week! Cheers to beginning the process of stuffing envelopes!
