Disney's Vero Beach Resort

We had a few days off in between school and work so we decided to plan a family weekend getaway to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. The resort is seated perfectly in the quiet town of Vero on the ocean and only a few minutes from the downtown area. The downtown area has quaint little shops and restaurants. We spent most of our time on the resort as we were only there for a few days and it did rain most of Saturday, but we made our way to the cute downtown area when it came to food!

EATS

What is vacation without indulging yourself in some delicious foods? We ended up finding some amazing restaurants with flavors that had our taste buds exploding. Our favorite restaurant was Mo-Bay Grill. The restaurant is actually located in Sebastian but is only a few short minute drive the opposite way of downtown Vero Beach. The flavors were delicious and authentic. We wanted to eat there breakfast, lunch, and dinner (which they conveniently serve for all meal times). We also tried out a must go breakfast spot in downtown Vero Beach, The Lemon Tree. Their Smokey Cheesy Southern Grits and Cinnamon French Toast are a must if you stop on in.

If you decide to stay on site for a quick appetizer and drinks, The Green Cabin on property was great! We would stop in for pre-dinner drinks and their pretzel bread and beer cheese dip was our favorite! We suggest going off site for breakfast and dinner.

Hotel Review

It is no secret that we are slightly obsessed with the Disney brand. If you are looking for a resort that has that Disney feel but not busy from the hussell of the theme parks, then this resort is perfect for you. It is definitely a stay for a family. Of course, that is probably a given since the resort is part of Disney's brand. It was definitely a perfect place to just unwind, relax, and enjoy the company of our loved ones. We are already planning our next weekend staycation with our entire family for some fun in the sun!
