Shopping Second Hand with Kids on 45th
This post is sponsored by Kids on 45th.
If you know me then you know I love a good deal! THRIFTING is my speciality, SALE is my favorite word, and AFFORDABLE is my lifestyle! We are a one income dependent family, it has become a necessity these days to be smart about where we put our money. As much as I would love to have an endless supply of cash, unfortunately, I do not have a money tree growing in my backyard. (If you know where I can find one of those to plant, hook a mama up!) However, creating a budget and being affordable doesn’t mean I don’t get to find joy in shopping. I just have to be smart how I do it. CUE A BRILLIANT BUDGET FRIENDLY IDEA- shopping second hand. WOAH. Yeah I said it. I am the world’s biggest second hand shopper. I used to be terrible at it and the thought of it would stress me out, but now, I have the self proclaimed title as the world’s best used item shopper. Shopping second hand does not mean you have to skimp on what you buy or buy ragged items. I used to think that was the case, but once I dove into it, I found that second hand shopping is almost, if not more satisfying than shopping at a department store.
I love thrifting. From furniture, house appliances and decor, to clothes, I am all about it. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew that thrifting would become even more important. PLUS, I love getting new clothes, especially for Marleigh. During my pregnancy, many of my friends passed down clothing and it meant so much to me but sometimes we still have to get certain things for her wardrobe. I love finding cute pieces to add to her collection and now when affordability meets fashion, I AM ALL EARS. I bet you are too. So what if I told you, you can get tons of clothes for an affordable price, slightly used but GREAT AMAZING condition, and ZERO hassle.
Meet Kids on 45th. This might just be my favorite way to buy new clothes for Marleigh. With 60 dollars to spend, I wanted to maximize what I could get for her wardrobe as she grows into a new size. Y’all, for SIXTY DOLLARS, I was able to purchase: 1 fancy dress, 2 jackets (rain coat and sweater), 1 pajama set, 3 pairs of pants, 1 pairs of shorts, 2 shirts, and a onesie. I am not kidding. That is 12 pieces for 60 dollars! When I go shopping on a normal day, one outfit can be roughly 15 dollars. All of the amazing pieces were in amazing condition and some of the pieces still had tags.
Customer service guarantee
If you are not 100% happy with your options, you can return and get something sent to you! They have this policy called the Happy Policy. If there is a piece you do not love, no worries. If you don’t love something in your box, it’s a quick two taps on your device to get a credit for the item. How great is that! Although, I had zero issues with any of the options picked because the stylist listened to what I wanted and found just the right pieces! It is also so much fun watching Marleigh open her box and pull out all her new clothes!
New and pre-loved kids’ clothing delivered to your door for about $4 an item. They have sizes that range from newborn to 14/16 clothing in excellent condition!
