Raising Winsomely

When my sisters and I started Winsomelychic, we loved engaging with our friends and fellow blogging community. Some of you may have noticed we have taken a bit of a hiatus from the blog. This year has been quite an adventure, with so many life changes, but like any new year goal we are eager to get back to sharing all that inspires us with you!

The other month I looked more into the definition of winsome, a word that we use to describe our blog, and something stood out to me. Winsome by definition is: generally pleasing and engaging often because of a childlike charm and innocence. I put a lot of thought into this word and could not stop thinking about my new life chapter as a mom. I am constantly reminded of an innocent charm every time a smile appears on her face. Even now, sitting here watching the bright curious eyes of my three month old little girl soaking in her new surroundings.

I’ve been wanting to dip my toes in the world of blogging. Soooo… with that I’m so excited to share a little bit of news with all of you! I decided it would be exciting to branch off and start a little something new. Welcome to Raising Winsomely, a new brand in WinsomelyChic! After much thought, Raisingwinsomely became my second born. I am so excited to start this journey. My hope is that I can create a platform that is real, captivating, honest, and entertaining for my readers. I want to show you the truth and beauty of motherhood, and all that comes with it, through the lens of my life as a military wife, adventurer, and stay-at home mom. I can’t wait to document new travels with Marleigh, moves that we will be facing this year, possible new beginnings, and the many firsts we will be having this year with our sweet girl. I hope you all learn something, smile a little, and enjoy witnessing the changes that my family will face. This blogging world makes me nervous, but I’m so excited to do what I love and create content that comes from my heart for you to read. My intent is to post every Thursday on new topics that are relevant to the stages I’m facing as a mom, and touch on topics that many of us new moms question! Thank you all for your support and encouragement to start Raisingwinsomely. Marleigh and I can’t wait to give you a glimpse into our everyday life.

Love, Jeana
