Beanie Style: Crochetlovebyv
I hope everyone is keeping warm with all these crazy cold temperatures. Even here in sunny Southern California and Florida we have been bundling up and trying to avoid the chilly temps! One of our favorite pieces we have been wearing to keep warm is our new beanie from our friend at CrochetlovebyV. Anytime we can #shopsmall, we do! We really believe in helping out local small businesses and helping them thrive. We initially ordered our beanies for the holiday season to wear with our onsies for Christmas but it is so soft and comfy that it's becoming a winter accessory staple in our closet! We ordered ours in red but she has so many different color options to choose from. She does custom orders if you want something specific.
I'm also in love with homemade candles. They smell so good and they are seasonal! She makes them all at home and ships them directly to you! You can shop her Etsy shop HERE.
Crochetlovebyv is owned by my good friend Valerie. I met her when I moved to California and started meeting many of the spouses in the military community. One of the many things I love about the military community is connecting with so many people and being able to watch them take their hobbies and turn them into something special. Val originally started crocheting a few years ago. She taught herself to crochet by watching YouTube tutorials. Her schedule was very busy between her role as a mommy, student, and wife but when she had some time to relax, she would crochet items for family and soon enough they all kept requesting a beanie, blanket, etc. We are so inspired by her passion to create each piece unique. She puts her heart and soul into each individual item and to this new business venture and it truly shows when you receive your gift!
We cannot wait to purchase something new from CrochetlovebyV and we hope you do to! If you want to order a piece we were given a code for 10% off. You can use the code WINSOMELYCHIC10.
We challenge you all to #shopsmall! Share with us some of your favorite local businesses in the comments below.
