Mounts Botanical Garden
Jessica came and visited me in West Palm this past weekend, so we put on our exploring shoes and went to visit Mounts Botanical Gardens. It was gorgeous with all the different flowers and plants they have on site. The grounds are peaceful and perfect for a picnic during the day, as they have tables laid out around the ground, or just to relax and take a walk throughout the park. It currently feels like triple digit heat with humidity right now in Florida, so we could only take the heat for about an hour. Luckily, there was a lot of shade from the different trees, so that made it a bit more bearable. I plan to go back when it gets cooler outside to spend more time exploring the gardens. It is also a fun cheap activity to do with the family. The cost to get into the gardens is a $5 donation.
It was only fitting that we wear a floral wrap dress to the gardens. I found this one at H&M a few weeks back because it was perfect for the summer. It is flowy and keeps me cool in this boiling hot weather. I paired it with my converse since we would be walking a lot. I also liked that they added a casual touch to the outfit. You can shop our look at the end of this post.
