Favorite December Beauty Purchases

Oh hey guys! I know it has been awhile since we have posted something on the blog. In between the holiday season and spending time with family, we decided to just be present in our daily lives and take a break from the web. It was the fresh of breath air we needed but like with any passion we missed creating content and connecting with all of you, so here we are in a new year! One of the "resolutions" we have for this year is to start posting content more frequently. Sometimes we get so busy and distracted with our daily routines that we end up pushing the blog to the wayside but fingers crossed we will stick to our resolution!

We wanted to start sharing some of our favorite products we purchase or receive each month, as we tend to try a lot of new ones out, so we are starting with our favorites from December. A few of these, like the Herbivore body polish and Belief Moisturizing Eye Bomb are new to our routine but the Dermalogica products and Drybar products have been a constant for some time now. Keep scrolling to read why each one is worth sharing!

We had heard amazing things about the Herbivore line, so we decided to make our first purchase their COCO Rose coconut oil body polish. You guys this body polish is AMAZING! We have been using it for a few weeks now and every time we get out of the shower our skin feels silky smooth and has so much moisture. Other body polishes are rough on our skin and tend to irritate it but this one has yet to irritate our skin and has helped reduce the amount of ingrown hairs that tend to pop up on our skin. It also has a subtle coconut scent that smells soooo good! Another product we just added to our daily skin care routine is Belif's Moisturizing Eye Bomb. Influenster sent it to us for review a little over a month ago and we now use it morning and night. We realllyyyy wanted to hate this product because it is a bit on the more pricey side for an eye cream ($48) but it brightens and leaves the skin under our under eyes super moisturized. We have also noticed that the concealer under our eyes has tended to stay looking fresh longer throughout the day which makes the price tag in itself worth it! Shop the product HERE.

The one thing we are all constantly complaining about is the lack of volume our hair holds. Seriously, it's so frustrating! We have never gone wrong with any product from Drybar. Their products really give us that boost of volume we always crave. We tend to get a little hesitant when it comes to hair products because so many of them leave a greasy residue in our hair but this one is light weight and we never notice the extra product in our hair after a blow dry. We also have added their mouse and high rollers to our hair routine and so far we are loving it! Maybe they will be in our next months favorite post! Shop it HERE

Dermalogica is one of two skin care lines that we cannot live without, (the other being Mario Badescu).  All three of us have struggled with acne and have for most of our lives! One of the best things we added to our skin care routine is Dermalogica's Overnight Clearing Gel. Our esthetician recommended it to us and we finally broke down and purchased it after weeks of putting it off because it is a bit of a splurge. We put it on every night before we go to bed and it helps clear up any breakouts we get and we have started to noticed that the breakouts become less frequent. A little goes a long way, which is great because this one is again on the pricer side. Honestly, it is one thing we will continue splurging on because it has made a world of difference since we started using it last month. Shop the product HERE

We were also recommended Dermalogica's skin prep scrub from our esthetician during one of facial treatments. We use it two to three times a week as our exfoliator. We usually put it in with our Mario Badescu Acne Cleanser  for a less abrasive feel and gives our skin a smooth and healthy finish. Shop it HERE.

Have you tried any of these products?! Share with us some of the products you have been loving lately!
